Privacy Policy
NovionCore ("we", "us", or "the service") provides a Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD) platform for roleplay communities. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
1. Information we collect
From your Discord account
When you sign in with Discord, we receive your Discord user ID, username, avatar, and email address. We use this to identify you across NovionCore and to send notifications.
From your Roblox account (optional)
If you choose to link your Roblox account, we receive your Roblox user ID and username via Roblox's OAuth 2.0 authorization. We do not receive your Roblox password, friends list, inventory, or any other data outside the scopes you authorize.
Account activity
We log actions you take inside NovionCore (e.g., creating a community, submitting a form, posting a shout) along with timestamps and IP addresses for security and audit purposes.
Payment information
If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment processing is handled by Stripe. We never see or store your credit card details. We receive Stripe's customer ID and subscription status only.
2. How we use your data
- To provide the NovionCore service (account, community management, notifications).
- To authenticate you with linked services (Discord, Roblox).
- To send Discord DMs and channel messages when explicitly enabled by your community's owner.
- To process payments via Stripe.
- To investigate abuse, fraud, or security incidents.
3. Sharing your data
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:
- Your community's administrators — when you join a community, its owners and dispatchers can see your linked accounts and roles.
- Discord — when sending DMs or channel posts initiated by you or your community.
- Roblox — only the OAuth scopes you authorized.
- Stripe — for payment processing.
- Cloudflare — our infrastructure provider, for hosting and DDoS protection.
- Game integrations — community owners can generate API keys to verify member roles from their own games. Only the data the owner's API key has access to (within their community) is exposed.
4. Your rights
- Access — view your data on the Settings page.
- Correction — edit your profile, unlink Roblox, change notification preferences at any time.
- Deletion — email privacy@novioncore.com and we will delete your account and personal data within 30 days, subject to legal retention obligations.
- Portability — request a copy of your data in JSON format via the same email.
5. Cookies and tracking
We use one essential cookie (rpcad_sid) to keep you logged in. We do not use third-party advertising or analytics cookies.
6. Data retention
We retain account data while your account is active. Audit logs and security events may be retained for up to 12 months. Stripe retains payment records as required by tax law.
7. Children
NovionCore is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, contact us and we will remove it.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced via Discord and email. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the most recent version.
